Debbie Frank Named Executive Director of the Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation

The Executive Committee of the Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Frank as the Executive Director of the Foundation, effective May 5, 2025.
Debbie brings a decade of experience in the Boca Grande community, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the Friends of Boca Grande.
“The Foundation is excited to have Debbie join us as Executive Director,” said Former Senator Judd A. Gregg, who serves as the Foundation Board Chairman. “Her depth of experience on Boca Grande and strong reputation as a leader and organizer will be a tremendous benefit to the Foundation, especially as we continue our efforts to raise funds for the Clinic of the Future and to assure high-quality healthcare for our Island.”
Reflecting on her new role, Debbie shared, “The Foundation serves as the lifeline that powers the Clinic’s exceptional care. It’s an honor to lead an organization so fundamental to our community’s health and vitality.”
In addition to her operational background and community-centered approach, Debbie has worked in a variety of marketing, entrepreneurial, and administrative roles in education, franchise development, real estate, and the entertainment industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Originally from Virginia Beach, she moved to Florida in 1996 and spent several years in St. Augustine and traveling with her husband before making Southwest Florida home.
Cannon Jones and Yuliy Fedoryshyn will be stepping down from their roles at the Foundation, effective May 1, 2025.
Cannon, who has been part of the Foundation team for seven years, including the last three and a half as Executive Director, is moving on to new opportunities and pursuits. Yuliy, who has served as Executive Assistant and Donor Development Coordinator, is also beginning a new chapter as he relocates to Tampa.
The Foundation Board appreciates the effort and contribution of both Cannon and Yuliy to the Foundation’s and Clinic’s success during their time on Boca Grande. The Board wishes them both continued success as they pursue new directions in their lives and professional careers.

From a Grateful Patient
Since I moved to Boca Grande in January 2018, I hope to never have to move again, and one of the major reasons (if not the most salient) is the Boca Grande Health Clinic. Even considering relocating seems out of the question, particularly as I, my friends and acquaintances, deal with the aging process.

75th Annual Flag Raising Ceremony
The 75th Anniversary flag raising ceremony held in March 2022 was an opportunity to pay tribute to the legacy of healthcare on the island. We honored those who have come together over the years to support the Clinic and recognized the important work of today’s Clinic team.
